Title: Digital Retail Manager
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (minimum 3 days/week on site)
E2D – Eliminate the Digital Divide is a non-profit dedicated to ensuring that all North Carolina citizens have affordable access to essential at-home technology and the data and information to empower families to prosper through better education, better jobs and better futures. Since 2013, E2D has placed over 55,000 computers into homes with demonstrated need.
About the Role
E2D is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Digital Retail Manager to lead and grow our Digital retail business (eBay, Amazon, wholesale etc.). This role is critical to scaling our impact through earned revenue. You will manage a team of up to 10 Technicians who support product preparation, and you will oversee listing strategy, customer engagement, and platform optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of 5–10 technicians handling item prep, photography, and data entry
- Develop and implement listing standards and operational procedures
- Collaborate with the inventory and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment
Business Operations
- Oversee the full listing lifecycle: product research, pricing, title optimization, category assignment, and quality control
- Handle all customer communications, offers, and disputes in a professional and timely manner
- Track and analyze store performance, listings, conversion rates, and profits
Platform Strategy
- Stay current on market trends, tools (e.g., Terapeak), and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in digital retail sales with measurable results
- Experience leading a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written communication for customer engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing an eBay store or similar eCommerce platform
- Experience with multiple marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay, Shopify)
- Background in non profit or social enterprise environment
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and digital listing tools
Work Environment
- Based in Charlotte, NC (must work onsite at least 3 days/week)
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial nonprofit team focused on equity and innovation
- Reports to the Director of Operations
Compensation and Benefits:
E2D strives to offer competitive salaries and benefits within the nonprofit field.
- Salary range is $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience, along with a $300/month QSEHRA employer contribution for health expenses in addition to paid vacation and holidays and possibility for performance-based bonuses
