Clinical Dietitian

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals and lead healthier lives. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs and providing medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education to optimize nutritional status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement personalized nutritional care plans based on patients' needs, diet restrictions, and physician care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition care plans, documenting all relevant information in the patient’s medical record per policy.
- Provide counseling and education on nutrition support and management to patients, families, physicians, paraprofessionals, and the community.
- Oversee inpatient foodservice operations to ensure compliance with diet orders and quality standards.
- Integrate food and dietetic services into hospital-wide Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and infection control programs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in nutrition counseling.
- Active BLS certification.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- May begin work as RD eligible under supervision for up to 6 months; must be licensed in the state of employment or eligible to become licensed during this period.
- Ongoing maintenance of Continuing Education Units (CEU).
