Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and manage enterprise-level wireless network migration, refresh, and modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, wireless technologies, and proven project management experience in delivering large-scale network transformations. This role will require expertise in end-to-end project management, from initial planning to successful execution, and a deep understanding of wireless network technologies to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex, large-scale wireless network migration, refresh, and modernization projects for enterprise-level organizations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal teams, senior leadership, and external vendors.
- Leverage expertise in wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, 5G, SD-WAN) to guide technical decision-making and provide insights on best practices for network migrations, upgrades, and modernizations.
- Collaborate with network architects and engineers to evaluate current wireless infrastructure and design solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Ensure adherence to wireless network standards, security protocols, and industry best practices throughout project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale wireless network migration, refresh, or modernization projects in an enterprise environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of wireless networking technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, 5G, SD-WAN, WLAN controllers, wireless security) and enterprise network architecture.
- Project Management: Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or similar certifications preferred. Wireless certifications (e.g., CWNP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP) a plus.
