Urgent Care - Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This position offers a consistent three 12-hour shifts per week schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
- Conduct minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision and drainage).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient-centered care.
- Accurately document patient visits using EMR systems.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in [State].
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or a fast-paced outpatient setting preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong clinical judgment, multitasking skills, and the ability to work independently.
