Outpatient Operating Room Charge RN - Orthopedics

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts

About the Role:

We are seeking an Outpatient Operating Room Charge RN to help lead our surgical team, specializing in orthopedic procedures such as:

• Total joint replacements
• Sports medicine surgeries
• Spine procedures
• Hand and upper extremity surgeries.

Charge Duties include:

• Manage OR operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
• Conduct performance evaluations, hiring, and corrective actions as needed.
• Support patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Interviewing and playing a role with hiring
• Disciplinary actions to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• RN license in GA, BSN highly preferred
• 3  years OR nursing experience, with 1–2 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgery workflows and patient safety protocols.
