Eliot is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Family Connector to coordinate and oversee the day to day operations for Project RISE at our Family Resource Center. The ideal candidate will have lived experience within the Latinx community as well as the knowledge and awareness of the local community and immigrant family issues. Individuals with a Bachelor's degree in a mental health related or similar field (Associates degree with 5 years of experience will be considered are strongly encouraged to apply.
Our Family Resource Center is part of a statewide network of community-based program offering multi-cultural parenting programs, support groups, early childhood services information and referral resources. Our goal is to support families to strengthen their bonds, connect to others, and engage in their community.
Responsibilities:

Organize and coordinate the day to day operations for Project RISE in the host agency.

Communicate effectively with host agency and Project RISE staff and community partners.

Run regular meetings with Community Engagement consultants, other Family Connectors, and Project RISE agencies

Conduct capacity building activities (e.g. asset mapping and environmental scan) for the organization with the support of the Community Engagement consultants.

Plan and execute community design strategy workshops for the community in collaboration with the Community Engagement consultants.

Conduct and coordinate intervention services and refer individuals and families to clinical services when deemed necessary
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Compensation: $21.62/hour (Bilingual English and Spanish/Haitian Creole candidates receive 6% salary increase for bilingual capabilities)
