As a 100% employee-owned company, every team member has a vested interest in our success, and we’re looking for a talented Purchasing Manager to be part of our dynamic team. In this critical role, you’ll help ensure that we always have the lumber and materials we need to meet our production goals and keep our operations running smoothly.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us:

· Employee Ownership: As part of our 100% employee-owned company, you’ll have a direct stake in our success and a share of the growth.

· Great Company Culture: We’re proud of our positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace where everyone’s ideas are heard, and everyone is valued.

· Work-Life Balance: We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance with flexible hours and supportive leadership.

What You’ll Do as a Purchasing Manager:

· Lead Procurement Efforts: Oversee and manage the purchasing process for raw materials and supplies, with a strong focus on securing the right lumber and other materials needed for production, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisitions.

· Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts to secure the best value, and ensure the reliability of our supply chain, especially in critical areas like lumber.

· Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production, inventory, and forecasting teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time, preventing shortages and production delays.

· Optimize Processes: Identify areas for improvement within the procurement process and implement strategies for increased efficiency, cost savings, and better inventory management. You’ll help ensure that we never run out of the materials we need to keep production on track.

· Strategic Impact: Play a key role in forecasting demand, managing inventory, and preventing supply chain disruptions, directly impacting the company’s ability to deliver high-quality products on time.

What We’re Looking for in You:

· Experience: Strong background in purchasing and procurement, ideally within the manufacturing industry (moldings, millwork, or similar). Experience in managing lumber procurement or other raw materials is highly valued.

· Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, OR equivalent experience in a similar role.

· Strong Communication Skills: Able to clearly communicate and build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring seamless operations.

· Highly Organized: You’re detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced environment.

· Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and secure favorable terms with suppliers, while managing cost and quality.

· Team Player: A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
