JOB TITLE : Dispatch Team Member
REPORTS TO : Senior Rides Supervisor & Operations Management
DEPARTMENT : Rides
PAY RATE : $19.50 / hour
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for relaying both emergent and non-emergent calls, in addition to conveying messages about operational and mechanical needs throughout the park utilizing stationary and mobile two-way radio communication devices. Keep an up-to-date log of all calls received and units responding as well as any other records deemed necessary to the continued operation of the park.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Greet and provide Team Members with courteous service.
- Assist Team Members and other Departments as needed with questions, comments, and concerns.
- Complete daily paperwork to include Daily Operations Summary, file daily paperwork and communicate necessary information to appropriate personnel via radio in a timely and accurate manner as trained and as according to Standard Operating Procedures manuals.
- Effectively communicate with departments through radio devices.
- Assist Training Coordinator in maintaining training documentation and administrative records.
- Responsible for proper notification during an emergency as according to the Emergency Response Plan.
- Maintain constant focus and attention to radio traffic during operating hours.
- Must maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
