POSITION OVERVIEW
The Field Supervisor provides experience, coordination, supervision and oversight of the performance of the department’s personnel. The Supervisor acts as a problem solver for the in- field technicians providing technical knowledge and advice. As a supervisor, you will exercise guidance, instruction and training new and existing personnel. This is an opportunity to lead a team of great people toward great results. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for leading the Repair and Service Department to meet quality goals.
- Ensure new team members are oriented to the expectations of the Company.
- Provide support to field technicians for troubleshooting repairs
- Assess the competency and capability of personnel by providing coaching and training.
- Evaluate the capability and results ensuring that personnel meet quality workmanship standards and expectations
- Oversee assignment of individuals' daily schedules
- Set and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure employee morale and productivity
- Promote, support and facilitate teamwork and foster a positive environment
- Be readily available to visit job sites to ensure proper and timely repairs and work product.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Technical Operations role in the Access Control Field, specifically commercial gates.
- Hands-on experience as a fully qualified, competent professional
- Prior verifiable experience managing employees is required
- Excellent computer skills needed including Microsoft Office
- Success in driving revenue/targeted quotas attainment for a division
- Outstanding leadership skills are necessary
