Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of Elite Aircraft Maintenance, including customer relations and financial management. This role provides leadership and direction to the Elite Aircraft Maintenance team, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and overall customer experience are consistently met. The GM is committed to delivering uncompromising service while driving the growth and success of the maintenance operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads the implementation of shortrange and longrange departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in conjunction with senior leadership.
- Monitors all events related to customer aircraft and coordinates with appropriate supervisors, technicians, and coordinators to ensure that customer commitments are met.
- Oversees all financial operations of the maintenance division ensuring profitability and identifying areas for improvement.
- Review customer invoices for accuracy of signoffs, labor, material issues, and pricing. Ensure that pricing reflects customer commitments and expectations.
- Ensures all policies and procedures are effectively implemented and consistently followed; Responsible for overseeing the training of personnel to enact policies and procedures.
- Ensure the team identifies and communicates event discrepancies and serves as a resource to provide customers with appropriate options.
- Develop and implement policy and procedure manuals and training programs in conjunction with the subordinate supervisors.
- Create new opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with customers, the local airport administration and aviation community.
- Establish a culture that promotes safety through daily observation, training, documented safety procedures, improvements and routine audits.
- Ensure training and development of employees to improve work performance and maximize employee potential.
- Address escalated employee relation issues in conjunction with senior leadership.
- Oversee the general maintenance of the facility and equipment.
- Provide high level oversight and technical assistance to all EAS managed or associated aircraft.
- Manage the technical onboarding and program enrollment for EAS managed aircraft.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) (college education strongly preferred).
- Aviation and/or Aircraft related education (preferred)
Computer Skills
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Must be fully proficient in all aspects of the software programs in use at the time.
Certifications
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required
- Experience: o 5 Years aviation experience (required)
- 5 Years in the aircraft maintenance field (preferred) o3 Years Cirrus (SR or SF) maintenance experience (preferred)
- 3 years management experience (required)
- Valid driver license with clean driving record.

- Ability and willingness to demonstrate proficiency with to following tools: Multimeter, Tensiometer, Differential Compression Tester, Ignition Timing Test Set, Sparkplug Cleaning and Gapping tools, Nitrogen Servicing Gage Set, Gaseous Oxygen Servicing Gage Set, Digital and Mechanical Torque Wrenches, Micrometer, Battery Operated Drills and Screw Guns, Tap & Die Sets, Battery Capacity Tester/Charger and Personal Protective Equipment as related to these tools.
Physical Demands
- Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
- Ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
