Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Basketball Skills Trainer/Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about basketball and possess a strong background in player development and coaching. As a Skills Trainer/Coach, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs tailored to a group's or individual's specific needs. This includes conducting skill assessments, providing weekly personalized instruction and breakdowns, and offering constructive feedback to help athletes improve their game.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct skill assessments to evaluate players' strengths and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement customized training programs to enhance players' fundamental skills, including shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback during group or 1 on 1training sessions to help athletes develop proper techniques and strategies
• Motivate and inspire players to achieve their goals through positive reinforcement and effective communication
• Collaborate with other coaches, parents, and our CEO to ensure alignment with players' overall development plans
• Stay current with basketball trends, coaching techniques, and training methodologies to continually enhance the quality of our programs
• Maintain accurate records of player progress and performance evaluations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a basketball coach or skills trainer, preferably working with players of various skill levels and age groups (required)
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, advanced skills, strategies, and game tactics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate athletes
• Passion for player development and a commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
