Join the world of Home Healthcare, where you can provide ONE-ON-ONE skilled care to patients in the comfort of their home. Work with ONE PATIENT for your complete shift! You will get to know your patients and their families and learn about the obstacles they may have in their home life. Then, you will plan, organize and direct home health care services with a one-on-one patient focus. As a Nursing Assistant, you will assist patients with daily living activities, ensure their comfort, and support their overall well-being to enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities may include the following :
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager.
- Support mobility by assisting patients with lifting and transferring as needed.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Light house-keeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Enhancing quality of life and building relationships with patients through conversation, doing activities together, and finding stimulation to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
- Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
