Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups, utilizing phone systems effectively.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records by filing documents and updating information in the system.
- Provide clerical support by preparing reports, managing correspondence, and performing other administrative duties as needed.
- Verify insurance benefits and discuss financial arrangements with patients.
- Assist doctors with various therapies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role within a healthcare facility is preferred.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and phone systems is essential.
- Familiarity with healthcare processes, and billing practices is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence is crucial for success in this role.
