Position Overview:
As a Sales/ Estimator, you will be responsible for generating leads and develop new business, providing accurate estimates, and managing client relationships from initial contact through project completion. With a focus on polished concrete and epoxy coatings, you'll play a key role in helping us expand our business and further establish our reputation for quality and service in the commercial market. You will be expected to bring both your technical expertise and leadership to the table as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Sales: Proactively generate leads and develop new business opportunities, particularly in polished concrete and epoxy coatings, while continuing to foster relationships with existing clients.
- Estimating: Prepare quotes and competitive estimates, factoring in material, labor, and timelines, with a focus on delivering accurate and profitable bids.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with contractors, architects, property managers, and facility owners, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring exceptional service.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution, meeting all deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Leadership: Take an active role in guiding the team, promoting a positive, results-driven culture, and mentoring junior sales staff as needed.
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to provide valuable insights for business development and sales strategies.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process, ensuring terms align with company goals while fostering positive, long-term relationships with clients.
- Growth-Focused: Actively contribute to the company’s growth strategy, bringing new ideas to the table and helping us expand our reach in key markets.
Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial flooring or construction sales and estimating, with a proven track record.
- Extensive knowledge of flooring systems, installation processes, and materials, especially polished concrete and epoxy coatings.
- A results-driven attitude with a passion for sales and a history of exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to accurately estimate project costs, manage budgets, and deliver profitable results.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
