- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
- Operate directional drilling locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards
- Confirm bore path with install foreman and drill operator
- Apply understanding of percentages, avoid existing utilities
- Ensure proper clearances exist
- Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition, report any findings to the foreman
- Operate other equipment as needed
- Provide support to other construction activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum two years of directional drilling locating experience
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Knowledge of utility depths and placements
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Class A CDL license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM; additional work, including on-call, may be required
- Must be willing to travel as needed (Monday – Friday)
