This position is responsible for providing technical support in our Service Operations Center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming service calls
- Manage service tickets
- Provide troubleshooting support related to software, desktops, services, network devices, and security and CCTV camera systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to fully resolve issues
- Basic network knowledge including configuration and troubleshooting of routers/switches/wireless/firewalls/LAN/WAN
- Helpdesk experience supporting customers or employees in an IT role
- Experience working with vendors and help lines resolving issues
- One or more industry recognized certifications or equivalent formal training/education
- Remote troubleshooting, monitoring, and diagnostic tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Hands on Experience with physical security systems, PACS, VMS, Access Control, Cameras, and Security software
- Experience configuring and maintaining Servers
- Have used a major ticketing system to manage support incidents
- Virtualization and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/VMWARE)
- Basic programming or script experience (SQL, HTML, Python, Java)
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend
- Must possess and maintain a satisfactory background record
