Cosmetology CTE Educator

Elite Cosmetology School is looking to hire a Licensed Cosmetologist to join our CTE Education Team!

Job requirements include:

• Current California Cosmetology License
• Must be licensed as a Cosmetologist for at least 3 years
• Current experience in the industry (salon/spa)
• Must be proficient in most Cosmetology Services
• Experience in training and computer skills necessary for coursework (data entry)
• Educator will be required to prepare for and deliver theory lectures and the ability to oversee and guide students during clinic services.

Because this position (CTE Educator) works directly with High School students, the following must be submitted within 10 days of hire:

(The School covers or reimburses all costs)

* DOJ Clearance (Live Scan)

* Negative TB Test

* Current Cosmetology License

* Proof of Current Covid19 Vaccination (or exemption waiver)

* Copy of High School Diploma or GED

* x2 Letters of recommendation from current or past coworkers/employers for teaching the CTE Class

* Current Resume

* Completion of the School District Mandated Reporter Training

* Letter verifying 3,000 Hours of Past Industry Experience (from Past Employer or Self - if self verifying the letter will need to be notarized)

* Background Check Cleared for Certificate of Clearance to teach a CTE Class

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
