1099 Preferred - A Fiber Optics Installer is responsible for installing, preparing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and systems. The professional designs optical paths and passive optical networks. They have a good understanding of the types of cables, cable color codes, and other cabling techniques.
Who are we?
We are a telecommunications company based out of the Midwest, but we work nationwide, and contract out for telecommunications installations ranging from CATV only installs to full cable, internet (broadband) and phone, as well as fiber splicing.
What’s the job?
- Performs residential and commercial installation of internet, phone and cable services
- Troubleshoot and fix service issues
- Delivers a spectacular customer experience
- Requires lifting, climbing, and working in all types of weather
- Little to no experience necessary! Looking to train the right candidate!
