Job purpose
The Warehouse Assistant will help to fulfill, process, pull, stage and deliver orders, accept incoming shipments, and help oversee the general organization of the warehouse. They will make sure the warehouse is clean, fully stocked and always in a state of readiness for our team.
Requirements
Duties and responsibilities
Assists with maintaining an accurate running inventory.
Restocks supplies and inventory for warehouse and vans; special orders (for Elite Property Management van replenishment and field requisition requests)
Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system.
Accepts, verifies, inspects, records, and puts away deliveries according to policy.
Records, reports, and returns defective items.
Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate departments for payment and recordkeeping.
Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.
Delivers pulled orders and appliances to job sites, assists with installs as needed.
Assists with light maintenance and service on Elite vehicles
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proficient with inventory control systems.
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license.
