Project Manager

Position Summary

Elite Developments seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead planning applications for residential and commercial projects. This role focuses on ensuring a successful approval process and project delivery. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, executing, and monitoring of our projects in the development stage from pre-consultation until the building permit is obtained.

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead the planning and development process throughout the project lifecycle for residential and commercial projects, from post-acquisition to the start of construction.
  
• Applications Process: Manage the municipal approvals processes, including Official Plan Amendment (OPA), Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA), Draft Plan of Subdivision, Site Plan Approval (SPA), Committee of Adjustment applications (CofA), Minor Variance applications, and Building Permit applications.
  
• Performance Oversight: Monitor the projects budget, cash flow and schedule timeline.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and challenges affecting the projects time, cost, and quality. Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on project objectives.
• Project Engagement: Maintain effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders, including community representatives, municipal staff, and team members. Manage conflicts or challenges that arise during the projects lifecycle.
• Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular reports on project status, progress, and deliverables to senior management. Please ensure comprehensive project documentation is maintained throughout the project's lifecycle.
  

Requirements:

• A degree in a real-estate-related field, such as urban planning or architecture, is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the real estate development industry, with a proven track record of leading successful residential and commercial projects.
• In-depth real estate development industry knowledge, including planning, design, and construction.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
