What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess/Cashier position at Elite Dine LLC DBA T Pot?
Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner - Seat guests and manage the seating chart to ensure efficient seating and wait times - Provide accurate wait time estimates and communicate any delays to guests - Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed - Assist with taking food orders and delivering them to the kitchen staff - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system - Maintain a clean and organized host/cashier station - Assist with other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred - Strong hospitality and customer service skills - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with others - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
