What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Nanny position at Elite Family Care?
Looking for a long term and VERY reliable nanny to interview and start asap. Full time care needed for a 2 month old and part time/after school care for older sibling, age 4. Mom works in the medical field and dad works remotely at home. The position is full time with 40-45 hours a week guaranteed as well as vacation and sick pay, flexibility to travel with them is a plus but not required.
While 90% of the job is direct childcare, the family is looking for support with the kids' laundry, basic tidying around the home of the kids items/areas, toddler school meal prep (pack sandwich and fruit) as well as a simple dinner for her. Occasional errand running, managing school reminders, and help with adding necessities to their amazon cart would be needed as well.
Candidate should have the following qualities:
- Highly reliable, mom is an in-hospital health care provider and dad is remote but very busy with his work.
- Patient with preschooler, she is very high energy, fun, and sassy!
- Can plan the day out around the baby’s nap schedule, the family has multiple memberships around the area for the preschooler to museums and parks to be utilized as the baby gets older and builds an immune system.
- No small children at home to mitigate the possibility of bringing an illness to their home.
- High energy to meet children's needs and keep up with their demands.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- standard childcare duties for infant and sibling age 4
- Transportation: school pick up (you will need to use your own vehicle - car seats will be provided)
- Meal Prep: prepare and feed kids dinner, prepare and pack preschooler lunches for following day
- Light Household Chores: light kitchen tidy and wipe down after use, tidy children’s spaces, children’s laundry
*All candidates must undergo and pass a background check, be a non-smoker and provide at least three professional household/care references
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 – 47.5 per week
