Location: Elite Fasteners, Rockford IL
Hours: Monday -Thursday 9:00am - 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm (full time) or Monday – Thursday, 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM and Friday 12:00am - 3:00pm (Part-Time)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse technician. In this role, you will be responsible for managing material inventory and ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of goods. You will play a key part in supporting our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction by keeping track of materials and ensuring products are shipped efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage shipping material inventory, including regular counts and organization.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of goods for shipment.
- Track and monitor stock levels, making recommendations for reorders when necessary.
- Process and fulfill orders in a timely manner, ensuring all shipments are correct and well-documented.
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds as required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or inventory area.
- Support other team members as needed with various shipping and inventory-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, inventory management, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
