Reports To: Installation Manager
Assignment Focus: We are looking for a skilled Flooring Service Tech to join our team. The Flooring Service Tech is responsible for small flooring repairs and touch-ups for a wide range of flooring materials. These repairs typically consist of grout touch-up, caulking, performing wood touch-ups, replacing a few cracked tiles, glue injections, and small carpet repairs. The Service Tech must be able to communicate with our customers to set expectations, answer questions, and provide care and maintenance tips. The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of customer service and have a desire to creatively resolve problems.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Identifies installation defects and remedies minor issues
- Communicates closely with the Installation Manager on quality issues detected in the field
- Completes pre-inspections to ensure readiness for installations
- Field measures installations in order to investigate material shortages
- Picks up and delivers materials to job-sites
- Previous experience in flooring and / or construction
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is a must
- Salary will be commensurate with experience
- 401k with company contribution of $0.50 on the dollar up to 6% for matching
- First year 12 days paid time off, after second year 18 days paid time off
