Operator

Job Description:

• Ensure all safe work practices are followed at all times; Assume responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
• Manual operations that include connecting and disconnecting hoses, lifting etc.
• Manual dumping of chemicals 50 pound bags in hopper.
• Operation of manual and automatic valves, handle product movement between units.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance activities and handle minor maintenance of their facilities.
• Perform housekeeping duties, to maintain a clean work environment, and clean equipment such as filters, and other various equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Exposure to heights, noise, extreme weather conditions, and areas where hazardous chemicals are present.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and to handle competing demands with flexibility;
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively;
• Employee must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the location;
• Operators must be able to work in various climates; lift 50 lbs.; work with various tools; maintain machinery.

Travel Required:
Ability to travel frequently and sometimes with little notice, including nights and overnight stays (approximately 80-% of the time) and travel by car / air.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing and background check, both for pre0employment and as required by our customers.
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred, not required).
• Valid passport or be able to obtain one with 60 days of hire date (preferred, not required).
• Able to read, learn, and follow instructions.

• Two years related work experience, preferably manufacturing or industrial cleaning. Military experience is counted as work experience. Completion of an Associates/Technical Degree from a Process Technology Program will be accepted in lieu of required work experience.
• Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour shift, overtime as required and on-call.

Wage Range: 25.00 - 25.00 per hour
