What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Lead position at ELITE HEALTH PARTNERS?
The job of the Packaging Team Lead is to ensure performance expectations are met, employees are trained, and processes are adhered to in order to maximize both facility output and quality. This position collaborates with the Team and quality department to ensure production demands are met and only the highest quality products are sent to market.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all facility production with the Team regarding bulk and finished product creation
- Directly managing the packaging team, ensuring that all production goals are met and comply with stringent quality standards
- Training new and current employees on the packaging Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes
- Reviews the Batch Production Records (BPRs) for accuracy and completeness
- Ensuring that cleaning and sanitizing activities, maintenance activities, and checks are completed and recorded by packaging team
- Updating weekly scheduling board with actual completion times
- Ensuring team members are completing paperwork correctly
- Supporting the Team to ensure that all production is initiated, completed, and documented per the appropriate SOPs and BPRs
- About 80% - 90% of the Packaging Lead’s time shall be spent packaging with the team
- Performing in-process checks on all packaging operations per the appropriate SOPs
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications / Educational Requirements
- High School or GED diploma
- 2-5 years working in a lead position desired
- Experience working in a production environment
- Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with diverse individuals in various situations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills managing mid-size production teams
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Processes and Quality Assurance practices
- Proficiency in major business software (Adobe, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and strategies
- A proactive approach to personal and professional development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
