Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Coding Specialist to join our healthcare billing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing processes to facilitate efficient medical record management and reimbursement.
Duties
- Code and key in anesthesia charges daily and submit to clearinghouse
- Post daily payments
- Work denied claims and work A/R
- Take phone calls and assist patients with statements and insurance questions
Fulltime position with excellent pay range based on experience. Work week is 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 8:00 AM until NOON on Friday. NO insurance benefits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
