Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Alternate Administrator / Field Nurse to join our team in Warsaw, Indiana. This position plays a vital role in supporting the agency's clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and delivering high-quality care to our clients. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced nurse who is passionate about home health and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the oversight of the clinical and administrative operations of Elite Nursing & Homecare.
- Act as the Alternate Administrator in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, Medicaid, and Prior Authorization (PA) requirements.
- Provide skilled nursing care in clients' homes, including assessments, treatments, and education.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other nursing staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and community healthcare providers.
- Participate in agency growth initiatives, quality assurance programs, and staff training.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health or a similar setting.
- Prior supervisory or administrative experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations, Medicaid requirements, and PA processes.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home visits.
