What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity assistant position at Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation?
Member / Activity Assistant
Monday-Friday 6 : 30 am - 3 : 00 pm
Elite Day Center is currently looking for an energetic, caring, and reliable individual to care for the Members at our location in Darlington, SC- a medical adult day care provider.
- Provide hands on ADL care to Members / Clients of the day center as needed / ordered (Toileting, Feeding, Assistance with ambulation & activities)
- Serve catered lunch and snacks according to instructions.
- Interacting and keep Members engaged throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center with daily cleaning tasks
- Documentation of participation in activities and progress toward activity goal
- Redirect members with behaviors in a calm manner, adhere to members rights and privacy
- Experience working with adults with various disabilities and needs, preferred
- Experience working with Alz / Dementia, preferred.
Job Type : Full-Time
Requirements :
Must be willing do undergo background check, drug test and obtain TB test
Current CPR or willing to obtain
