Job Summary:
The payroll representative primary responsibilities will consist of assisting HHA's, PCA's and PA's with any payroll questions as well as processing timesheets among other payroll-related tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage a high call volume environment, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Review and enter all incoming timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up on all timesheets that require correction or clarification.
• Conduct orientation sessions to educate new aides on payroll procedures and related matters.
• Process Paid Time Off (PTO) requests for HHAs, PCAs, and PAs.
• Enter direct deposit information for HHAs, PCAs, and PAs into the system.
• Knowledge in either Viventium or HHA Exchange software for payroll processing.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills in all interactions.
• Availability to work overtime as needed to meet payroll deadlines and address urgent matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in payroll processing preferred but willing to train with comparable office/administrative experience.
• Experience in a home health care agency a plus.
• Knowledge in using payroll software such as Viventium or HHA Exchange a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with our diverse staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear and concise explanations to staff regarding payroll procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in payroll processing and record-keeping.

Pay Range: The hiring range for this position is $21-22 per hour. Various factors will determine final compensation such as a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
