REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and experienced Medicaid QA Nurse to join our rapidly growing team at Elite Home Healthcare, LLC.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive review of all OASIS assessments (start of care, resumption, recertification, and discharge) to ensure appropriateness, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Reviews CMS 485 data, medication profiles, DME, and aide care plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with assessments
- Reviews daily HHA and Skilled Nursing visit notes to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicates with appropriate clinical staff on a regular basis to clarify and reconcile any data issues and facilitate appropriate corrections
- Proactive in identifying process improvement opportunities
- Works closely with leadership to meet performance, quality, and productivity goals
Qualifications/Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License, required
- 2 Years Nursing experience, required
- 1 Year Home Health nursing experience, required
- 1 Year of Medicaid OASIS QA review, required
- Computer literacy, required
- Must be able to work collaboratively and independently
- Must have keen eye to detail
- Must be adaptive, flexible, have ability to learn quickly, and use critical thinking
- Must have strong computer skills
- Must have EMR system proficiency, preferably Kinnser/Wellsky
- Ability to multi-task and respond appropriately to the needs of a busy work environment
