Position Overview

We are currently seeking a House Manager for a busy, health-focused client in Atlanta, Georgia. This full-time, salaried position generally operates Monday–Friday, 10 : 00am–6 : 00pm; however, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is required. The client maintains an active lifestyle, travels occasionally, and fosters kittens—requiring a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual to help maintain their household.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic & Household Management
  • Coordinate and oversee vendors and service providers (gardening, maintenance, cleaning, repairs, etc.).
  • Assist with basic gardening tasks and general outdoor upkeep.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee various household projects (decorating for holidays, organizing closets / storage, etc.).
  • Travel & Logistics
  • Arrange domestic and international travel accommodations (flights, hotels, ground transport).
  • Prepare detailed travel itineraries and handle last-minute changes.
  • Administrative & Research
  • Conduct research projects for the client (event planning, product sourcing, service comparisons).
  • Manage and keep accurate records of household expenses, budgets, and receipts.
  • Assist with selling art and other items as requested.
  • Kitchen & Nutrition Support
  • Basic food prep (e.g., dicing onions, peeling fruit, washing vegetables).
  • Pet Care
  • Must be comfortable with animals, specifically kittens, as the client fosters frequently.
  • Provide basic assistance, feeding, and transport to vet appointments if needed.
  • Communication & Feedback
  • Maintain open and professional communication with the client and other professionals.
  • Be receptive to feedback and able to provide thoughtful updates or recommendations.
  • Other Duties
  • Go above and beyond to ensure the household runs smoothly.
  • Manage ad hoc tasks and special projects as requested by the client.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management , Business Administration , or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a House Manager or in a similar domestic leadership role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions meticulously and offer feedback effectively.
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Experience overseeing vendors, managing budgets, and handling household logistics.
  • A demonstrated passion for health and wellness .
  • Must be pet-friendly and comfortable assisting with foster kittens.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in basic kitchen / food prep (e.g., cutting produce, simple meal assistance).
  • Ability to multitask and manage a wide range of responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong research and administrative skills (organizing files, invoices, vendor coordination).
  • Experience in holiday / event decorating, art sales, or household inventory management.
  • Additional Requirements

  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Verifiable references from previous employers or clients.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Willingness to adapt to the client’s evolving household needs.
