We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager integral part of daily operations and will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all employees that is in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
This position is based in Waxahachie, TX but a Safety Manager must be willing to travel as needed to job sites across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training programs for employees on topics such as OSHA /MSHA/DOT
- Collaborate with management to address any safety concerns promptly
- Maintain records of all safety-related incidents, training sessions, and inspections
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in safety management
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters
Qualifications:
-OSHA 30, 500 and/or 501 preferred
-CHST preferred but not required
-MSHA experience a plus
-Construction field safety experience Required
