Home Infusion RN - PRN

Elite Infusion LLC is a growing home infusion agency based in Indiana seeking motivated professionals to fill Home Infusion Nurse roles. Elite was founded by a practicing, hands-on nurse with the sole mission of bringing nursing back to where it should be: patient centered care. This role includes scheduling patient visits, administering and monitoring the infusion at the patient home, and providing direct care.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and self-administration instruction of specialty infusion therapies to patients, and or caregivers.
• Assess the patient during each visit for any medical or psychosocial needs.
• Initiating venous access and infusing Specialty medications such as IVIG, Subcutaneous IG, TNF, and Alpha products, as well as other chronic therapy medications.
• Coordinates total plan of care for the patient in the home
• Professional, friendly interaction with patients, families, advocates, pharmacists, providers, and partners. Provides written and verbal updates to care team members.
• Accurate and timely charting of patient visits using the AlayaCare system

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active RN License with no restrictions
• Valid Driver’s license / auto insurance with reliable personal transportation
• Current CPR Certification
• 2 years minimum experience in ICU, ER, Infusion settings
• Home care experience desired
• Self-sufficient with peripheral IV starts - a MUST!
• Ability to travel locally 100% of the time
