About the Role:
We are excited to announce the launch of our new Affordable Care Act (ACA) department within our organization, focused on selling insurance through the marketplace. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on professional who not only has deep experience of running an insurance call center agency and back-office operations but also excels on the sales floor.
This role is perfect for someone ready to roll up their sleeves—engaging directly with our current Medicare clients and their families over the phone, assisting with building robust KPIs, and setting the strategic direction for the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Engagement:
- Actively make outbound calls and engage with our current Medicare clients and their families to sell ACA insurance products.
- Department Development:
- Collaborate closely with management to design, implement, and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational expectations.
- Assist in building the structural framework of the new ACA department from the ground up.
- Call Center Operations:
- Utilize hands-on operational expertise gained from running an insurance agency to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Manage back-office functions, ensuring seamless integration between sales and administrative operations.
- Carrier Negotiations:
- Engage in negotiations with carriers, drawing on experience to secure favorable contract terms.
Required Qualifications:
- Active 2-15 Florida license.
- Proven experience in operating an insurance call center agency or similar role, with a strong operational and back-office background.
- Deep understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), including marketplace dynamics and insurance product specifics.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate carrier contracts successfully.
- Exceptional sales and communication skills with a hands-on approach to client engagement.
- Willingness and ability to work in-office.
