Retail Security Officer
This is a STANDING / WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on-duty.
As a retail security officer, one is expected to adhere to superior standards while serving the surrounding communities. It is imperative for a retail security officer to maintain a commanding presence complemented by exceptional customer service skills. Additionally, the ability to manage crisis situations at the client site in a calm, effective, and efficient manner is essential.
In the capacity of a retail security officer with our organization, you will be responsible for both initiating and completing daily reports. As a valued team member, you will be expected to uphold a distinguished presence while assigned to various sites. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft
- Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity
- Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk
- Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.
