Position Overview:
The Program Director Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations and administration of multiple after-school program sites within the Fort Worth area. This position requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and parents. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the Assistant helps ensure high-quality programming, compliance with policies, and smooth logistical operations across all locations.
This Role is Mon-Fri., Mon to Thur hours are 1-6 PM and Fri Hours are 12-6 PM
This position requires travel between Fort Worth region locations.
Key Responsibilities: Program Support & Operations:
- Assist the Program Director in overseeing the daily operations of multiple after-school sites, ensuring smooth implementation of programs.
- Conduct site visits to monitor program effectiveness, staff performance, and student engagement.
- Support Site Directors and staff in maintaining a safe and enriching learning environment.
- Assist in implementing curriculum and activity schedules, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Help coordinate professional development sessions and training for staff.
Administrative & Logistical Assistance:
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations.
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and distribution of supplies to program sites.
- Provide clerical support to streamline administrative processes and maintain organized records.
- Assist with enrollment, parent inquiries, and account management.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Communication & Relationship Building:
- Act as a liaison between schools, program staff, parents, and the Program Director.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and stakeholders to ensure program success.
- Provide feedback and guidance to Site Directors and staff to maintain high-quality standards.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment among program teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in child care, education, or administrative support preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, and record-keeping software).
- Other Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
