Graphic Designer

Elite Lighting is in search for a highly motivated Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will assist with supporting product marketing and branding by developing, designing, and producing professional graphic and multimedia assets for web, print, audio, and video. The Graphic Designer is expected to work closely with the individuals who represent the advertising, promotional and marketing departments.

Duties will Include, but not limited to:

• In charge of developing and maintaining Elite’s entire decorative lighting lines. Responsibilities will include oversight of the overall graphic layout and guide product design as well as packaging, advertisements, brochures, magazines, slogans, email blasts, sell sheets, website, website banner, displays, product illustrations, logos, and product news releases required to introduce new products to the market for the decorative lighting lines.
• Research a targeted competitor’s product and marketing material as an outline to develop Elite’s marketing brochure with the intent to meet or exceed the packaging aesthetics, product labels, and product capabilities of the competitor.
• Some copywriting is required.
• Combines art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages using a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects using text style, colors, images, and other design tools. Creates unique images and marketing styles that identify our product and convey a message.
• In charge of new product introduction, new product releases, and marketing campaigns.
• Create training videos as marketing campaign resources to reach audiences (consumers, partners, employees, and others).
• Uses images, text, and color to transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, which can make complex ideas more accessible.
• Performs a high level of content and visual quality control, the graphic designer ensures that information obtained from other departments is accurate and deadlines are met.
• Keeps up to date with the latest software and computer technologies to remain competitive.
• Creates competitive product and/or specification sheet concepts based on samples provided.

Qualifications:

• High school degree and completed some college courses. (Preferred)
• Experienced and proficient in graphic design tools. (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, After Effects, Premiere, Videography, etc.).
• Experienced and skilled at defining, designing, creating, testing, and implementing digital multimedia and graphic design elements.
• Must provide online portfolio link for consideration.
• Functional Knowledge of social media and online marketing.

Job Type: Full time in office (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with overtime)
