What Youll Do As a Business Development Specialist, you will primarily engage in outside sales activities to expand our client base and achieve revenue targets. Your role will include : Face-to-Face Sales Efforts : Spend the majority of your time meeting potential clients, attending networking events, and engaging in direct sales activities to promote Elites services. Prospect Identification : Research, identify, and qualify leads, focusing on decision-makers in targeted industries and organizations. Sales Presentations : Deliver tailored, in-person presentations and consultations, emphasizing Elites unique value and addressing client-specific needs. Lead Conversion : Build and nurture relationships to secure contracts, manage client accounts, and ensure long-term partnerships. Community Engagement : Represent Elite at conferences, trade shows, and community events to expand visibility and generate new business opportunities. Travel : Travel regularly within California and other targeted areas to conduct client meetings, attend events, and execute sales strategies. Success Looks Like This Youll thrive in this role if youre driven to : Drive Sales Through Field Engagement : Spend the majority of your time meeting potential clients in person, attending networking events, and building relationships that position Elite as a key provider of healthcare solutions. Develop Targeted Sales Strategies : Independently research and qualify new leads, focusing on high-level decision-makers in target organizations to develop specific prospect lists based on industry, company size, and geographic location. Create and Deliver Tailored Presentations : Utilize your expertise to independently deliver customized sales presentations and consultations, highlighting how Elites services meet the unique needs of each client and solving specific pain points. Close Deals and Maintain Client Relationships : Use independent judgment to convert prospects into clients by negotiating and finalizing contracts. Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction during renewals and driving ongoing business relationships. Manage and Optimize Sales Pipeline : Proactively track all leads and sales activities in HubSpot, setting follow-up actions and maintaining detailed records. Ensure timely follow-ups with non-responsive leads and adjust strategies as needed to improve conversion rates. Represent Elite at Industry Events : Attend conferences, trade shows, and community events outside the office, representing Elite to increase brand visibility and generate high-quality leads.
