PRN Mobile IV Infusion Nurse - Greenville SC

Elite Mobile IV is a mobile IV clinic that offers on demand IV therapies in the comfort of the patient's home. Our areas of operation include Greenville SC, Asheville, NC, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Knoxville, TN, and Nashville, TN . We are looking to add highly motivated nurses with excellent IV skills, a background in ER or ICU, and are open to flexible hours that fluctuate with demand to our team.

Duties:

- Administer infusion therapy & other medical services to patients in accordance with the medical provider's orders

- Monitor and assess patient's vital signs during infusion therapy

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding infusion therapy

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Perform venipuncture and insert peripheral IV catheters as needed

- Document patient care activities accurately and timely

- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

-Have open and flexible availability to take on demand cases on short notice

Requirements:

1. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina

2. Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and be comfortable working as a triage nurse.

3. Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in daily IV placement.

4. Ideally, have at least one year of RN experience, with preference given to those with experience in Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care, or Labor and Delivery (L&D).

5. Maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.

6. Exhibit strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and proficiency in multitasking.

7. Have access to reliable transportation.

8. Be proficient in sending and receiving text messages, working with smartphone apps, and utilizing GPS navigation.

9. Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration skills with both co-workers and clients.

10. Be capable of working independently in various care settings.

11. Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

12. Be open to flexible work hours as needed.

• Nurses are required to pickup and drop off supplies at our central hub located in downtown Greenville. Nurses who typically thrive in this role live within 10-15 minutes driving from downtown. How far do you live from Greenville downtown? Are you willing to drive to Greenville office to pickup supplies and return to office at end of day to drop off supplies?
• Are you available at least 2-3 days or more per week to see our clients? Our clients request IV hydration on demand, meaning they expect service within 1-2 hours. On days you are available, are you able to respond to appointment requests within 5 minutes and see clients within 1-2 hour timeframe?
• Clients can request appointments from 0900-2100. On days you are available, are you able to see clients during these time frames?
