In-Home RN (Per Diem)

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Hours may vary based on need.

The In-Home Care RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their home under. Duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal care, and providing support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other relevant information.
• Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Previous experience in home health or a similar setting preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and transfer patients using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to push wheelchairs and other equipment.
