Position Overview
As a Nurse Practitioner at Elite Pain & Health, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Working collaboratively with our expert physicians and healthcare team, you will develop comprehensive treatment plans, perform interventional procedures, and educate patients on pain management strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for pain management.
- Perform interventional procedures such as joint and spine injections, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary patient care.
- Educate patients and families on pain management strategies, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous education to stay current with best practices in pain management.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Oklahoma.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board certification as an FNP, AGNP, or ACNP (Family, Adult-Gerontology, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner).
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or interventional medicine is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education and team collaboration.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
