We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving or similar roles and possess a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, ensuring the comfort and safety of all passengers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate clearly with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the shuttle vehicle.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, school bus driving, or as a delivery driver.
- Familiarity with operating various types of vehicles including buses, vans, and limousines.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when assisting passengers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and team members.
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns for efficient route planning.
- Experience in paratransit services is a plus but not required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
