JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer (or Senior Designer) to join our team and work alongside other professional and talented engineers, designers, and support staff. This individual is one who is able embrace our core values of Growth Impact Value Excellence Service (G.I.V.E.S.).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All facets of electrical design implementation of the following: lighting, lighting controls, normal power systems, standby/emergency power systems, one-line/riser diagrams, arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, utility coordination, equipment selection and specifications, comprehensive electrical system design and layout, field investigation and observation, and construction administration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, E.I.T./P.E. Registration (preferred).
- 6 years of project experience (10 years for non-degreed).
- Demonstrated technical expertise for all major electrical systems, industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Active participation in industry related organizations for technical and professional development.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel - Outlook), SKM (or EasyPower), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Providing guidance to less experienced engineers and designers and communicating clearly in both verbal and written forms.
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 6 years of electrical project experience (or 10 years for non-degreed candidates).
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, or significant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in designing electrical systems such as lighting, power systems, and emergency power, as well as conducting studies (arc flash, short-circuit).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and electrical analysis tools like SKM or EasyPower.
- Certifications: E.I.T. or P.E. registration (preferred but not required).
