Sales and Production Manager Manufacturing / Sales Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Production Manager to oversee the sales efforts and production of signs. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who is ready to drive growth, improve operational efficiencies, and contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales for our sign manufacturing department. Build and maintain strong relationships with highway construction companies, municipalities, state agencies, and walk-in customers.
  • Production Oversight: Oversee the sign production process to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery. Manage the production team and ensure projects are completed within specifications and deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and ensure consistent, high-quality results.
  • Customer Relations: Provide exceptional customer service, address client inquiries, and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and forecast future sales trends. Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Manage production costs and sales budgets, ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining profitability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales and production management, preferably in the manufacturing, construction, or sign industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knowledge of traffic control, striping, or sign manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
  • Competitive salary between $60K and $85K, based on experience.
