Company in Kyle needs pet sitter/dog walker (PT to Full Time)

Well-established pet sitting/dog walking company serving clients in the Kyle/Buda area for 14 years is looking for the RIGHT animal-savvy person. We are looking for a Part Time Sitter/Walker that "can" transition into full time work, if interested. Candidates MUST be available weekends and holidays.

We are looking for honest, trust-worthy associates who will be around for years to come. The company spends a lot of time, money and effort training the right person, so we ask that you PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE POSITION.

CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN KYLE. Please DO NOT REPLY to this posting if you do not live in Kyle. Because of the areas of the clients we service, it is not cost effective if you live outside Kyle.

The position requires contractors to travel to pet parents' homes to care and visit pets in the pets home. Furry clothes and slobbery kisses are a bonus :)

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

• Have ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
• NO criminal background!
• 25 years of age or older (sorry, absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Be available to work during the week, holidays and weekends (schedule is VERY flexible).
• Experience with dogs and cats is a MUST.
• Be punctual, responsible, organized, detail oriented and able to follow directions.
• Be extremely reliable, honest and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills with ability to write detailed notes for clients.
• Be competent to exercise/properly walk dogs.
• MUST be willing to clean up feces, urine and vomit, when necessary.
• Please do not apply if you are allergic to pet dander, bird feathers, etc.
• You must have a reliable and insured vehicle. This is an "on the road" job and you will be responsible for your gas (which is deductible on taxes).
• Have Internet access and email.
