About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team in Shelton, CT. In this high-impact role, you’ll manage accounting responsibilities across multiple countries, branches, and entities—ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries to support daily operations and month-end close
- Perform and analyze account reconciliations across various countries and entities
- Support month-end and year-end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Manage intercompany transactions and foreign currency reconciliations
- Investigate discrepancies in financial data and ensure proper resolution
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and projects requested by leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years of accounting experience (multinational or complex entity experience preferred)
- Familiarity with foreign currency accounting is a plus
- Strong Excel skills – VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to take ownership of tasks
- Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
