We’re partnering with a highly profitable, stable manufacturing company in Berlin, CT, to find a Senior Cost Analyst who’s ready to dig into complex made-to-order products and drive meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report manufacturing costs and variances from standard
• Work with manufacturing and product data teams to refine costing models
• Maintain standard costs, margins, and perform annual cost roll
• Drive operational efficiency through cost benchmarking and analysis
• Prepare financial models for product and investment decisions
• Support purchasing, inventory management, and physical inventory processes
• Partner with corporate finance to complete monthly closes and journal entries
• Lead product profitability, price/volume, and mix analysis
• Support new product development with detailed costing
• Take on ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

What You’ll Bring:

• 3–5 years of cost accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Solid understanding of cost concepts—even if not a “pure” cost accountant
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Drive, energy, and a desire to build a long-term career
• ERP experience (JD Edwards is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office
