Duties
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn to plumb fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters under the supervision of skilled plumbers.
- Participate in remodeling projects that require plumbing adjustments or installations.
- Gain experience with pipe threading and welding techniques as part of your training.
- Support field service operations by responding to service calls and assisting with troubleshooting plumbing issues.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Develop mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is a plus.
- Willingness to learn about HVAC systems and their integration with plumbing services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
- Previous experience in remodeling or construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
