Project Manager - Pool Builder

Job Responsibilities:

• Construction or Pool Renovation experience is helpful to be RAIL licensed for electrical pool repairs
• Sales-minded and customer-driven, manage a daily schedule of appointments, projects, sub-contractors, incoming and follow-up sales leads
• The ability to utilize a smart phone for Project Management mobile platforms.
• The ability to spot opportunities outside of initial call, such as upgrading other equipment or adding to the customer experience with other products.
• Renovation experience – Re-plaster or equivalent (e.g., PebbleTech®), tile replacement/repair, deck texture/seal, pavers install/repair).
• Acting with Integrity
• Superior Knowledge

Job Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• The ability to lift up to 50 - 100 lbs
• Knowledge and experience with swimming pool renovations; with a sales aptitude or experience in sales

Essential Duties:

• Oversees all phases of the pool installation process, taking digital photos throughout, and responsible for ensuring completion of all required inspections.
• Meets regularly with the General Manager to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve outstanding problems or issues, as needed.
• Assists the Design Consultant to ensure that any site concerns are addressed prior to obtaining a signed construction agreement.
• Performs pre-site inspections on all construction projects prior to excavation to ensure that all facets of the project have been identified and documented to eliminate the possibility of potential installation problems. Ensures compliance with the use of all safety-related equipment on the jobsite as required by Elite Pools.
• PM’s are responsible for evaluating the performance of construction crews for each phase and empowered to take immediate corrective action when workmanship is found to be sub-standard.
• Continuity ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are being met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in construction or related field, preferably project management experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to overcome customer objections.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Willingness to accept change and take initiative to create positive change within the scope of job responsibilities.
• Able to effectively deal with rigors of stress and disappointments in a calm, unemotional manner.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work long hours in the busy season.
• Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and/or engineering plans a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
